Qatar
- The host team is already eliminated from Group A. Now it is between Ecuador, Netherlands, and Senegal.
Netherlands
- They just need to win the game against Qatar to get 7 points.
- If the Netherlands loses then their fate would depend on the result of Senegal and Ecuador’s match. If Ecuador wins, then the Netherlands automatically qualifies for the round of 16. But if the match ends in a draw then the Netherlands has to make sure that they lose by only a goal margin otherwise it would become interesting if the goal margin is 2. The Netherlands would be eliminated if Senegal wins against Ecuador with a single-goal margin.
Ecuador
- A win or a draw will keep Ecuador in the top 2 of the table.
- A loss would mean Ecuador could be eliminated if the Netherlands wins or draws their match. Goal difference would come into play even if Netherlands loses their game against Qatar.
Senegal
- It is a must-win game for Senegal against Ecuador to qualify for the Round of 16.
- But if the Netherlands loses the game against Qatar by a margin of 3 or more, then Senegal can qualify for RO16 even with a draw.

Iran Vs USA
England
- England is leading the group with 4 points and a +4 goal difference. England qualifies if they win or draw their match against Wales.
- If England loses against Wales, then they have a chance of elimination if the loss is with a margin of 4 goals or more and there is a winner in the USA vs Iran game which in turn would qualify the winner of the game and Wales.
Iran
- If Iran wins, they will qualify. The result of the other matches won’t matter.
- If Iran draws; England should either win or draw their match for Iran to qualify otherwise Iran would be eliminated.
- If Iran loses, then they would be eliminated from the World Cup.
USA
- If the USA wins, they will qualify. The result of the other matches won’t matter
- If the USA draws or loses, they would be eliminated from the world cup.
Wales
- If Wales wins with a margin of 4 goals, then they would automatically qualify for the round of 16 irrespective of the result of the other match of the group. But if Wales wins with a goal difference of fewer than 4 goals, then USA vs Iran should end in a draw for them to qualify

Poland
- If Poland wins against Argentina, they will qualify. The Draw will also work for them.
- If Poland loses then they need to make sure that their loss will be a goal difference of 1 and that Saudi Arabia loses the match against Mexico. If Mexico and Saudi match get a draw Poland loses by a margin of 2 goals, they will be eliminated.
- If Mexico wins, then it depends on the goal difference between the two teams.
Argentina
- It is a must-win game for Argentina against Poland to qualify for the round of 16.
- If Argentina draws, Saudi Arabia and Mexico need to draw or Mexico wins by a goal difference of 2.
- If Argentina loses, they will be eliminated and Poland will qualify.
Saudi Arabia

France
- France has already qualified for the next round with two important wins in the group stages.
Australia
- If Australia wins, they are qualifying.
- The draw will also keep Australia in the top 2 if France wins against Tunisia. If Tunisia wins against France, Australia will be eliminated.
- If Australia loses, they are out of the tournament.
Denmark
- If Denmark wins against Australia, they will qualify for the next round.

Spain
- Spain will qualify, either they win or draw.
- But if Spain loses, Costa Rica should draw or lose against Germany, and Germany should not win by a margin of more than 1 goal.
- Spain should not lose by a huge goal margin against Japan and Germany should not win by a big margin.
Japan
- If Japan wins against Spain and Costa Rica wins with less than 7 goals then Japan will qualify.

Croatia
- Croatia has to win or draw against Belgium to qualify.

- Portugal qualified for the next round with one match still left against South Korea.
Ghana
- Ghana needs to win against Uruguay to secure the top 2 positions in the group.
- If Ghana draws; then Portugal has to win against South Korea to help Ghana to qualify, but if South Korea wins with a goal difference of +2, Ghana will be out of the tournament.
- If Ghana loses, it will be eliminated from the World Cup in 2022.
South Korea
- It is a must-win game for South Korea and Ghana should lose. If the Ghana & Uruguay match draws, South Korea needs to have a better goal difference than Ghana.
- If South Korea beats Portugal by 2-0, and Uruguay beats Ghana, but with less than 2 goal difference. South Korea will qualify.
- If South Korea loses or draws, they will be out of the tournament.
Uruguay
- If Uruguay wins and Portugal beats South Korea. Uruguay will qualify.
- But if South Korea Beats Portugal, Uruguay needs to win the match based on goal difference to stay ahead of Ghana and South Korea.
- Uruguay’s loss or draw will eliminate them from the tournament.
